Programme for 2026
Ticket to Ride 2026
- Venue: – At Djanogly Gallery, Lakeside Arts, Nottingham University, to see Andy Warhol, Pop Icon Exhibition.
- Date: Friday 27th March.
- Entrance Fee: £6. which needs to be paid in advance please. You can pay preferably using your card, or by cheque, at the next monthly meeting (note there is a cost made by the bank for cheques).
- The trip is restricted to 15 members.
- Bring bus passes.
- Time: Meet at Mansfield Bus Station at 10.10am, so we can register everyone.
- Pronto Bus leaves for Nottingham at 10.20am from Mansfield Bus Station. On arrival in Nottingham we need to take a short walk to Slab Square to catch the tram to Lakeside Arts. Remember, you can also use your bus pass on the Nottingham tram system; you just need to tap your card on the ticket reader at the tram stop before getting on. We are aiming to go directly to catch the tram and not pop into shops en route, which is of course a big distraction, but the tickets are timed for 1 pm so it won’t be possible. However, trams and buses run approximately every 10-15 minutes so on the way back you can shop as much as you like!
- Please let me know if you are unable to attend.
- Booking open March meeting.
