Welcome to Sherwood U3A, Mansfield Woodhouse

We are a vibrant organisation formed by local people whose aim is to work together to enjoy a variety of learning opportunities and social activities.

Membership is open to adults regardless of age and employment status. Our objective is to share fun, friendship, and informal learning in a varied, and enjoyable way. We pride ourselves in having an ‘open-door’ policy and working in accordance with Equality, Diversity & Inclusion protocol.

Frequently asked questions: –

I am only 52 years old but took early retirement; can I join Sherwood u3a? Yes, you can, there is NO age restriction.

I reduced my working hours to part time; can I join Sherwood u3a? Yes, you can, you don’t need to be fully retired.

I work, but my shift pattern means I frequently have a full week off duty, can I join Sherwood u3a? Yes, you can, we have a full programme of activities throughout the month.

I am not as physically active as I used to be, can I join Sherwood u3a? Yes, you can, there’s something to suit everyone at Sherwood u3a!
