Usual meeting is at 2.00pm-4.00pm at Flint Avenue Community Centre, Forest Town, NG19 0DS. Subscription – £20 for the year, payable in January which included coffee and biscuits. For further details contact Jenny Weaver. We are always keen to have new members.
- 28th January – Quiz & Finalise 2025 Plan, Plant Sweet Peas, Each to acquire.
- 25h February – Talk on Panting Hanging Baskets by Jenny – Jenny to source contents.
- 25th March – Visit Rhubarb Farm, Nether Langwith – With Talk and viewing of Gardens. Car share from Morrison’s, Mans. Woodhouse, meet at 1.30pm. Return 4.00pm. (No cost).
- 29th April – Visit to Walker Nurseries Garden Centre, Doncaster. Car share from Morrison’s, Mans. Woodhouse, meet at 1.00pm. Return 4.30pm.
- 27th May – Visit Renishaw Hall, Chesterfield, to see bluebells. Entrance fee £10. Recommended arrival time there is 10.30am. Car share leaves from Morrison’s, Mans. Woodhouse at 10.00am.
- 24th June – Visit Gardens at Derby with a stop for coffee at cafe on site. Car share from Morrison’s, Mans. Woodhouse, meet at 10.00am.
- 22nd July – Visit to Thornbridge Hall. Entrance fee is £8. (£6.40 if pre booked on line). Lunch at Quakers Cafe. Ravenshead bus leaves from Morrison’s, Mans. Woodhouse, meet at 10.00am. Return 2.30pm.
- 26th August – BBQ Jenny’s house, contributions to be discussed. Bring homegrown sweet peas.
- 23rd September – Visit to Darfoulds Garden Centre, Worksop – for bulbs. Car share from Morrison’s, Mans. Woodhouse, meet at 1.00pm.
- 28th October – Flint Ave – 2pm – Discuss details of Christmas Fuddle & Plans for 2026.
- 25th November – Flint Ave – 2pm – Christmas Fuddle & Christmas Quiz.
- December – No meeting.
