Afternoon Tap Room Games.

Afternoon Tap Room Games meet at the Black Bull Public House, on the Ground Floor in the Games Room, on the left.

Good news for all our Afternoon Tap Room Games members, we will be back in the Black Bull starting Wednesday 1st October 2-4pm.

• The new landlady cannot wait to welcome us.  If you are not a member but would like to be, please sign our sheet of paper near the stage.
• Members can participation in a number of Bar Games such as Pool, Darts, Cards, Dominoes, etc, in a Ground Floor Room with exclusive use for u3a members during the afternoon.
• There is a £1 entry fee, towards room hire.
• Bar drinks are available to buy.
• There will be a Raffle at end of the session.
•   December starting at 2.00pm – Christmas Buffet – if members would like to bring a game to play, please do so, and if they require cake for the buffet please bring your own. We will charge £1 entry, £1 for raffle and bingo and £1 for the sandwich and nibble buffet.

What can I say about my Taproom Games, some members attend for the company, to socialise and to make friends. Many come to play taproom games, darts, pool, dominoes and cards. Some like to play silly games, speed pool and the very popular 15 dart challenge. You might want to play the fast and furious game Uno, or even bring your own special game to play with other members. Your idea of a good time might be sitting at a roulette wheel, with a nice drink, winning a lot of plastic chips. We finish every session with a good old-fashioned rale, and I give out tubes of ‘Rolos’ to all our game winners – not bad for a Wednesday afternoon!  Please put your name on the list if you are interested, we had an average of 28 members attending all last winter, so it is important you add your name to our long list.
